SaveMyPrompt ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy discloses the nature, scope, and purpose of personal data collected, stored, and processed when using the SaveMyPrompt Android application and associated online services at savemyprompt.xyz.
1. Data Collection & Usage
Offline-First Principle: Your prompts and custom categories are stored entirely offline on your device in a secure local Room database. We do not automatically upload, sync, analyze, or access your saved prompt text on remote servers.
We collect and process only the minimal necessary data for application operations:
- Authentication Information: When signing in with Google, Firebase Authentication processes your Google user identifier (UID), display name, and email address for identity management.
- In-App Feedback: If you voluntarily submit feedback or bug reports, the submission (including diagnostic device specifications such as Android version, device model, and optional screenshots) is stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
- Google Play Billing: When purchasing subscriptions, Google Play processes payment transactions. SaveMyPrompt stores only the anonymous entitlement state and subscription verification token locally.
- Advertisements: Google AdMob displays non-personalized or test advertisements in accordance with Google Play developer policies.
2. Account & Data Deletion
In compliance with Google Play account deletion policies, users have the right to request full and permanent deletion of their account and all associated cloud data at any time.
- In-App Deletion: Open Settings in the SaveMyPrompt app, tap Delete Account, and confirm your request.
- External Web Deletion: You can initiate and complete account deletion without reinstalling the app at: https://savemyprompt.xyz/delete-account.
- Manual Request: You may also email a deletion request to support@savemyprompt.xyz. Manual verification requests are processed within 30 days.
What is deleted: Firebase Authentication records, user profile details, and submitted feedback documents are permanently removed from cloud infrastructure upon request completion.
Google Play Subscriptions: Deleting your SaveMyPrompt account does not cancel recurring subscriptions managed by Google Play. You must cancel active subscriptions in the Google Play Store under Google Play Subscriptions.
3. Security & Third-Party Service Providers
We employ Google Cloud Platform, Google Firebase, and Google Play Services to provide secure backend authentication, database, and billing functionality. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols.
